Barna Research has said that women are the backbone of most Christian congregations. It has also been said that women comprise roughly 73% of adults in the average church on any given Sunday.

Each person, male or female, is made up of three parts: body, soul, and spirit. As ladies, it is our body, or physical self, on which we often focus. Our bodies will age and die, but the part of us that chooses to attend church, our soul,  is eternal. We should not neglect our physical body because it is God’s temple; however, it is the internal qualities of a meek and quiet spirit, a gentle and tender nature, which God calls beautiful.

The Ladies Auxiliary wishes to encourage, affirm, and equip ladies to fulfill their purpose, make a difference in their sphere of influence, and to develop the quality of their character, so we can each be made into unforgettable—truly beautiful—women.
