The Married Couples Ministry at The Sanctuary is focused on drawing couples closer to God, and thereby drawing them closer together.  Marriage was the very first institution created by God.  Family is the basic building block of society.  When families fail, other social structures fail.  From business to government, God gave instructions on how systems should be established and managed.  From early writings in Genesis to the Epistles, God placed great emphasis on the family unit.  Relationship is very important to God.  In this present time, it is more vital than ever that we follow His guidelines for family and relationships and make Him the bond that binds us together.

“But from the beginning of the creation, God ‘made them male and female.’  ’For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”
